Hug Engineering has partnered with D'Angelo Marine Exhaust to become a certified supplier and service provider for Hug Engineering's emission-aftertreatment systems for the U.S. yacht market.
D'Angelo Marine Exhaust has been a leader in exhaust design, fabrication, service, and installation worldwide for over 35 years. We operate a vertically integrated production facility with a highly skilled technical labor force and a strong sales network embedded in the yachting capital of the world, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Hug Engineering — a Faurecia-owned company — manufactures emission-aftertreatment systems for a range of segments including marine applications. Hug services six locations worldwide and has more than 1,000 systems running today on marine vessels globally. D'Angelo Marine Exhaust is an excellent match for Hug Engineering's growth ambitions in the U.S. market.

The relationship benefits from the speed-to-market of a new Hug Engineering Nauticlean® electrical diesel particulate filter currently in the final stages of development and slated for sea trials. D'Angelo Marine Exhaust shares its network with Hug Engineering — multiple locations across South Florida and preferred marine exhaust manufacturer to Lauderdale Marine Center and Rybovich Superyacht Marina. Hug Engineering brings DPF and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) aftertreatment systems for generators and propulsion engines.
"The partnership leverages the strengths of both teams, enabling full integration of the exhaust and emission solutions for our joint customers, and places Hug Engineering strategically at the heart of the Eastern seaboard yachting capital to service customers with first-fit, retro-fit and aftersales support."
"With collaboration on engineered solutions, the partnership enables speed and agility to fit the needs of demanding customers for soot control, as well as emission compliance for IMO III and beyond."
